About Zeyada
Zeyada is a casual script by Kimberly Geswein, published under the SIL Open Font License. It is partly joined: most lowercase letters connect, a few pairs stand apart. Its x-height is tall at 43 percent of the em, so the lowercase is large and reads clearly at small sizes. Strokes are plain, with swashes that stay within the letter (swash extent 0.083). The stance is a slight right lean at about 6 degrees. It suits craft projects, social graphics, invitations.
Pairs that do not join: bo, ov, vi, wa, rs, fa, ft, ss.
How the letters connect
Using Zeyada
Keep Zeyada at 14 point or larger in print and 18 pixels or larger on screen; below that the letter shapes start to blur. Export SVG for cutting machines and use the Weld option so the joined letters cut as one shape; the pairs that stand apart cut as separate pieces. Use PNG at 300 DPI for print. Before committing, type the pairs bo, ov, vi, wa in the generator: these are the ones that do not connect in this face.
Licence and download
Zeyada is published under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (OFL) by Kimberly Geswein, verified 2026-09-06. The images you make here may be printed, sold on goods and used in logos with no fee or attribution. The font file may be installed and embedded but not sold on its own.
To use it in Word, Google Docs or Cricut Design Space, download the file from the source repository, install it (double-click, then Install) and restart the app. For joined script on a cutting machine, weld the text so it cuts as one shape, or upload the SVG from the generator instead of typing in Design Space.
