How to write Thank you in cursive
Start with the capital T: a tall downstroke with a curved cap stroke across its top. The T does not join: lift the pen after it and start the h with its own entry stroke. The h is a tall loop, then a hump drawn from the baseline; it runs from the baseline straight into the a. The a is an oval closed at the top, then a downstroke on its right side that exits at the baseline; it runs from the baseline straight into the n. The n is two humps drawn from the baseline; it runs from the baseline straight into the k. The k is a tall loop, then a small loop at the midline that throws a short leg down to the baseline, and its exit stroke finishes the word. Lift the pen before the next word.
Then comes the y: an upstroke to the midline, a trough, then a downstroke that loops below the baseline. The o is an oval closed at the top with a short exit stroke at the midline; it hands over to the u with a short bridge at the midline, so the u starts high instead of from the line. The u is an upstroke to the midline, a trough down to the baseline and up again, then a downstroke, and its exit stroke finishes the word.
When the last word is finished, go back and cross the t. A common slip in Thank you is making the small loop of k too large, so the letter reads as h or b.
